SPECIAL COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

Safety for our staff, participants and volunteers are most important during this challenging time during our fight against COVID-19. We are continuing to work with city, state and local officials, along with following the CDC's recommendations as we plan. Because of COVID-19, we will be implementing special policies and procedures for this year's event. We are confident that we can produce a safe event for all but we want all participants to know the event will look different from year's past. Please read the changes below prior to registering so you are informed.

  • Capacity limit for the half marathon = 750 (1,400 registered in 2019)

  • Capacity limit for the 5K = 250 (650 registered in 2019)

  • Masks will be required for all pre- and post-race activities. Not required when running

  • Massage and Gear Check will not be offered

  • The Fitness Expo will be more like Packet Pickup only and will take place on Friday in Military Park

  • Pancake Village has been canceled

  • Participants will be required to pick up their medals off of a table at the finish line (verses volunteers distributing)

  • Water will placed on tables on course. Volunteers will not be handing cups out

  • The course may change to become a loop course to reduce the number of volunteers needed for water stops

  • Post race Beer Garden is still under review

We want the "show to go on" as much as you do. If we all work together, we can still have a fun, memorable day!
